Who Is She? Art Show Continues at 125 Live, Rochester MN

Thanks for your interest in this show. This art show was originally made possible by a SEMAC grant thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

You can see portraits of 16 different women who have made or are making important contributions to society. These women range from many different cultures and some are alive while others have passed away.

This show will be at 125 Live in Rochester MN from October until January 1, 2022. Call to find out their COVID procedures and ask if it is free to see the art there. It has been free in the past, but things can change. Here is the phone number. 507-287-1404

If the dates of this show change due to COVID, I will post that information here.

In the meantime, I am going to begin work on self publishing a short book with the portraits and brief bios of all the women. More information on that will come later.

Who is she?

This is the title of my art show currently at the Rochester Art Center in Rochester Minnesota. This show features sixteen women who are have made positive contributions to society though they are not all widely known.

Here are some pictures of the fiber portraits. Plans for a book about this art show and the women featured are underway.

Enjoy the portraits, learning about the women, and I hope it inspires you to find out even more about them.

This art show was made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund in Minnesota.
